The Aker BioMarine krill fishery is certified as sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) . MSC is an independent, global, non-profit organization that promotes the best choices in sustainable seafood. Read more

Total traceability

Aker BioMarine applies close control over the entire sequence of actions from harvesting of krill in the Southern Ocean to delivery of products to customers. Every product batch can be traced back to the coordinates of the vessel when the harvesting took place. Read more

ECO friendly

Aker BioMarine is based in Norway and operates utilizing krill fishing licenses in Antarctica issued by Norway. Krill is caught by using our Eco Harvesting™ technology and processing starts immediately onboard our factory vessels to preserve the maximum nutritional value and freshness. Read more
