QRILL™ Antarctic krill meal is a very strong feed attractant in aquaculture diets!
The lipids in QRILL™ Antarctic krill meal are approximately 45% phospholipids, rich in the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. QRILL™ Antarctic krill meal is a good source of the natural antioxidant astaxanthin and has a minimum of 56% protein. The level of protein and lipids together in QRILL™ Antarctic krill meal exceeds 80%, making QRILL™a very nutrient dense product.

DHA and EPA omega-3 fatty acids are important contributors to good health in animals, and in humans. Their bioavailability is enhanced when they are ingested as phospholipids. Marine phospholipids themselves are building blocks in cell membranes in all animals.

QRILL™ Antarctic krill meal is a good source of the natural antioxidant astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is important in limiting cellular reduction, fighting the effect of free radicals and, for fish such as salmon, it provides important pigmentation.

QRILL™ Antarctic krill meal contains at least 56% protein. Analyses of the amino acid profile of krill protein demonstrate that all essential amino acids are present and are nutritionally well balanced.
